Is it okay to have an animated background image at blogger?
i have a girly blog where i discuss various findings on skin care and other stuff. previously, i had a personal xanga where my background image was always animated. i feel it gives life to the blog. so i am just wondering, if i upload animated background image to my blogspot blog will it get penalized by google? will there be any negative effect? i just want to keep the image very simple so everything on pages remains readable.
Make your Blog Content rich simple and easy to read so you will not be penalized hopefully.

namely http://www.hashminmsite.blogspot.com and there you can see Google approved that for Ad sense animated images.
