Can anybody give me some advice on Roscea and dermatitis please…?
Been suffering for a while now with the above as well as being allergic to fragranced skin care etc. I have really bad bouts of attacks, I have tried alsmost everything to help inc prescribed antibiotics which I am still taking and prescribed washes and creams, Most of the prescribed care doesnt seem to work. I have been recommended sulphur 30c tablets which I am guna take and also Eucerin face cream. Is there any type of oil or other creams etc I could try? I have also used Acene which I find makes my condition worse, i also have tried dermol, aqueous cream, E45, Eczamol and so on. I am literally @ the end of my teather now, could any 1 recommended anything? Oh also Roscea gel doesnt work either!! Thanx in advance.
I have roscea on my neck and right side of face and eczema which is a bit different I know..Im 47 years old now, and have lived with this all my life. NOTHING I’ve ever been prescribed in the way of creams, oil, lotions,gels, herbal remedies have worked, and AQUEOUS cream made my eczema worse. I think it’s been proved since that this is so but gp’s still prescribe it!?
So through trial and error my ‘armour kit’ is mineral make up (brilliant and better than any camouflage cream) for my roscea and a teaspoon of olive oil in my bath every day (baby oil irritates) If I have a shower then I apply the same amount of olive oil all over when i step out and am still wet then pat dry. The unaffected parts of my skin are super soft and supple which is an added bonus I suppose. good luck.
