This is recommended by most dermatologists including mine, whom I saw just recently. Plus (I don’t know if you’re in the US or not but…) fact: the FDA has no standards for what chemicals are allowed in lotions, makeup, deodorants, toothpastes, and lip balms. Unfortunately, this means that there are varying levels of good AND bad chemicals in the products that we buy and use on our skin/mouth. Things like neuro-toxins and carcinogens. The site also gives you a detailed breakdown of what all the ingredients are in that product, along with definitions of what each chemical actually is and it’s purpose, like “fragrance” or “viscosity.” Cetaphil’s a great moisturizer/lotion; it doesn’t clog your pores, it’s hypoallergenic, and all Cetaphil products receive a 1 on the spectrum of ‘harmful’ to your health, from the website.
