Is there anyway to get rid of keratosis pilaris (bumps on the back of your arms)?
If you don’t know or think you know what keratosis pilaris is, here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keratosis_pilaris
It’s basically a skin condition characterized by rough bumps that occur on certain areas most of the time (especially the back of the arms). I have a moderate case on the back of my arms, though when I get tanned during the summer, it doesn’t show up as much. However, my tan fades with each winter, so it’ll stand out at least half the year. I was wondering whether cosmetic surgery could completely remove this problem or at least reduce it without it ever coming back. Also, it would be very helpful if you knew how much treatment for it costs…I’m realistic enough to know that I probably can’t get rid of it all, but I do believe that it should be possible to significantly reduce the appearance of these bumps.
I wash my arms with acne scrubs and twice a week with pumice, making sure to keep them well moisturized and that’s really cleared up my keratosis a treat, without the back-breaking surgery costs!
Try it, it might work for you too
