Brisbane Smile Centre – Cosmetic Dentistry in general?
Hello, I was wondering if anyone has had cosmetic dentistry in Brisbane or Australia?
My husband has crooked teeth and I know he doesn’t like smiling in photos and is self concious of his teeth and I wanted to get some info about what we can do.
I don’t know whether to get him braces/invisalign or a full on surgery/brand new smile type of thing?
Does anyone have any advice who live sin Australia? And PRICES are a big issue as I have no idea how much it is, could be $1000 or could be $10 000 and I really just want an idea!

I’m an orthodontist in Brisbane. Invisalign will straighten your husband’s teeth gently and easily. I treated 2 of my adult sons plus my dental assistant and her husband, so I can assure you it’s easy.
There is no “surgery” to improve a smile. Usually you are referring to veneers, which (if the teeth are crooked) is a HUGE compromise. Porcelain veneers involve removing good tooth enamel, and composite veneers can look lifeless and bulky.
Very rough price guide:
Invisalign – $7000-$10,000, depending on location etc
Porcelain veneers – $1000 each
Composite veneers – $250-$400 each
The best answer – get him to see an experienced orthodontist who uses a lot of Invisalign, and get all the info. It will be worth the consultation fee!
