In Belgium, can you get plastic surgery at 16 (for cosmetic reasons) with parental consent?
I can’t find a clear statement about this, but as far as I know it is legal. But not all doctors will do it.
In september 2010 there was a proposal for a law on cosmetic surgery. Article 4 of this proposal says:
“Invasive medical cosmetic surgery on minors may be undertaken only with the written consent of a legal representative.
For each invasive medical cosmetic surgery on minors may be subject to prior consultations with a medical specialist in psychiatry or a psychologist.”
